About us
We are Michael, Sandra, Florian, Laura and Ben-Luis Schuster from Siegen with our dog Elli.
We would like you as our guests to feel comfortable in the house and have a good time! We hope that you like the furnishings, equipment etc. and would be happy if you give us feedback on our blog. There you can register with your e-mail address and create a comment. We are always open for good ideas or criticism. We would also like to read how you have liked it in our house!
We certainly agree that we should treat each other with trust and fairness: We provide many good things at the house, such as a washing machine, a fully automatic coffee machine, a grill and a wallbox to "fill up" electric cars. If problems arise during use, please be so kind to inform us or the reception staff.
The most important thing for us is that you spend a great holiday here, whether in summer or winter. On this homepage we would like to give you some tips and advice - all from the experiences we made ourselves in Steinach am Brenner. On our activities page we have put together some of the hiking and climbing tours, bike tours and excursions with children. On the page A-Z you will find more important information about the region, many valuable links to other websites and certainly some interesting and new things.
Our expectations to you
To us this house is not just any holiday home, but it has become our second home. The place, the region - we feel comfortable here, away from the big tourist hustle and bustle, with the many possibilities for activities - or simply to relax in detail.
We would be very happy if you as our guests would stick to a few basic rules, which we also stick to:

Privacy
Locked cupboards contain our private things and are not intended for guests of the house (upper cupboard in bedroom 3, 2 cupboards in the kitchen/dining area, upper cupboard of the wardrobe in the entrance area).

Skis, bicycles or similar.
Please do not take them into the house - not even into the entrance area! There is a spacious and lockable ski box in the carport where you can put your skis. Bicycles can also be locked in the carport.

Shoes, especially ski boots
Please always leave shoes downstairs in the entrance area. For ski boots there is a dryer, where they are available again the next morning perfectly warm. Set the timer so that the ski boots dry for about an hour, this is quite enough.
For other boots, like hiking boots or similar, there is a special shelf under the stairs to store them. An underfloor heating will keep your feet warm, with or without slippers.

Pets
We have a dog ourselves and for this one there is a "dog bed" under the television in the living room. Down in the cupboard by the washing machine you will find a hose with a shower, which you can connect to the tap in the carport, for example to shower a dirty dog.
We have decided after long consideration to allow pets in our chalet; please feel free to use our equipment described above and please do not leave your pets on the couch, armchair or bed - thank you very much!

Non-smoking house
This chalet is a non-smoking house. Please respect this. There is an ash tray in the kitchen cupboard, which you are welcome to use outside on the balcony to smoke.

Food on departure
Please do not leave any open food such as opened noodle packs, tomato paste etc. in the cupboards. Likewise, the refrigerator and the freezer should be completely empty at the time of departure. The cleaning staff will thank you!
